Dr. Heather Sheardown, a globally recognized leader in ophthalmic biomaterials and engineering innovation, will deliver the keynote address at the 18th Annual McMaster WISE National Research Conference. As the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at McMaster University and a Canada Research Chair in Ophthalmic Biomaterials and Drug Delivery, she has made groundbreaking contributions to biomedical technology, including developing artificial cornea materials and advanced drug delivery systems for eye diseases.
